A Whole Year!!

I cannot believe our little baby isn't a baby anymore and has turned ONE! The last year flew by. Sawyer is the most entertaining little guy ever! He amazes me everyday!
We had a little party with family for him the weekend before his actual Birthday. It was so much fun. Sawyer LOVED every second.

So life around here this summer has been alot different. Jadi is still working out in Alabama and I am here with Sawyer in Utah. It has been pretty challenging at times being a "single mom" for the summer, but Jadi is working SO hard and it will all be worth it when its over. 8 weeks left, give or take. I tell my self "I can do it...I can do it." Hopefully I can.
Sawyer has been changing SO MUCH! I cant belive he is 9 MONTHS old! He is quite the little guy too.
He weighs 19.9, 29 1/2 inched long. He has 6 1/2 teeth!! He loves to "walk" around. He holds on to anything he can reach so he can. He is a dare devil child. He just plows through everything and anything to get to where he wants or to get what he wants! He does stand up and balance without holding on and 2 days ago while he was balancing he took 2 STEPS!! Ahh, what?! Is he really about to start walking!? That 8 weeks better go by fast if he is, or I'll have quite the handful! He is so curious and interested in just about everything. He LOVES music of any kind and immediately starts dancing if he hears it! So cute!
He loves to make animal sounds, Roaring like a lion is his favorite, but he also does, a dog, cow, owl and a kitty.
He LOVES our dog Bruce, and I think Bruce is his favorite word to say :)

Sawyer is 8 months old!! He is so much fun, I just play and laugh with him all day long. Being a mom is definatley the best job in the world!
So he's hit a couple milestones the last month or so...
*He has the two cuttest bottom teeth, with more on their way in.
*He is crawling and he moves like a bolt of lightening! He is so so fast!!
*He says Dad,Mom and funniest of all Bruce, or Booce! He loves our dog and its hilarious to hear him say his name!
*He pulls himself up on anything he can reach and is really good and sitting back down, that took some practicing :) While he's standing he'll walk around while carefully holding on!
*He decided to climb our stairs the other day too (I was right behind him) He climbed all the way to the top!
Seriously they grow a hundred miles a minute overnight!!!
Things he likes...
*Animals, loves my parents cats and Bruce or any animal he sees
*Loves to stare at himself in mirrors or just about anything he can see his reflection in. I have a vain child!
*Loves to read books. He does this the most all day.
*He also loves to play with paper cups, weirdy!
*Loves making a huge mess while he eats, I dont like this so much :)
So next month he has his 9 month check up, and I will get his growth stats. He is just growing, growing, growing and its the most fun ever!

Sawyer is 4 months old now and I can hardly believe it! He has grown so much and is becoming quite the little person! I haven't ever put up his stats before but I thought I would do his 4 month stuff. So...
Weight: 14 lbs 12 oz 50th percentile
Head: 75th percentile. That would be his dads fault!!!
Height: 26 inches. 95th percentile. He's really tall which makes buying clothes for him kinda hard cause he's so long but he's skinny!
Also at the doctors visit we discovered a tooth coming in! 4 months old and he's getting teeth?! Where did my little baby go??
Some other things...
*he's rolling over
*he "talks" SO much all day long, love it!
*he growls! So funny!
*he LOVES his dad, they are already the best of buds!! He sqeals in delight whenever he sees him!
*he loves listening to people talk
*he knows he's cute cause everytime you tell him he smiles :)
*he is ALWAYS so happy, he smiles and laughs so much
He has been such a good baby, always happy and making us happy and love him more and more everyday! He will be eating rice cereal in 2 weeks! Time is not my friend these days. My little baby doesn't feel so little any more but he is still amazing and perfect to us!

Life with Sawyer couldn't be more perfect. We have so much fun with him everyday. He is getting SO big! I can't believe he is already 3 1/2 months old!! I don't have much time to write a whole lot so here are some pictures...

So here is his arrival story...

About 6:00 in the morning on Wednesday I woke up to go pee for the 3rd time that night. As I was walking back to bed I felt something weird and liquid leaking. I thought, "Holy crap, my water just broke!!" I woke Jadi up and he went right into "lets get things done" mode. He was totally relaxed and chill. Not what I thought he would be at all! We got things packed and ready to go. We left the house at 7:30. On the way to the hospital I started having contractions. I didn't pay much attention to them at first but then they started to hurt pretty bad. So I started timing them and they were exactly 5 min. apart. The drive to the hospital takes 30 min. So we finally get there and we check in.

The nurse comes in and checks to see if my water really did break....and it didn't, I just had alot of pee and it didn't all come out when I went to the bathroom. Embarrassing! But the nurse did say that happens alot, but still, I felt dumb. But thankfully I was still having contractions but now they were 3 min apart and pretty intense so they didn't send us home. Instead my dr. came in and said, "Well, lets get this baby here, I'm going to break your water and your baby will be here soon." Jadi and I looked at eachother with shocked faces. I think we both kind of thought they would end up sending us home. I really didn't think this baby would come early!

So the dr. broke my water and thats when I wanted to die! The contractions after that were terrible! I was only 2 centimeters dilated so I thought it would be awhile before I would be able to get an epidural and I was so scared because these contractions were coming every 1 1/2 to 2 min. I barley had time to breath! Thankfully the nurse came in and rushed my epidural. After I got that it was great, I felt great. The next few hours they checked me and I was progressing pretty slowly so they gave me some pitocin to help things going.

At 3:00 the nurse came in and I was at 4 cm. She said she would come back in an hour to check me agian. Jadi and I bet what I would be dilated to when she came back. I said I would just be at a 5 and he guessed 7. Well only 40 minuted went by and she came in to check me and I was at a 9!! We were both shocked again!!! She said she would come back in 35 min. and we would start pushing. I couldn't believe it! It was such and exciting overwhelming feeling to know that just in a short matter of time we were going to have a baby, that our little guy was finally going to be here! After all the uncomfortable months of being pregnant it was all about to be over! It was such a strange feeling.

So the nurse came back and we started. And after 2 1/2 hours of pushing, sweating and Jadi being the best support ever, and being so tired I wanted to die. He came out!!! It was a whirl wind of emotions. He was so ugly and cone headed! But I immediately loved him more than anything! I was so happy to be done. Jadi and I were instantly in love with this little boy and we really couldn't believe what had just happened!

All day long during my labor while we were waiting. We kept saying, "What are we going to name him?" And we still had no idea. But in my mind I kept thinking Sawyer. I told Jadi that but he still wasn't 100% on the name.

After they cleaned him up and handed him back to me for me to hold him for the first time, I looked at Jadi and said, "Its Sawyer" and he said "Yep, your right." So we were so happy we named him sooner than later. I really didn't want to leave the hospital with a nameless baby!

Our first night with the baby in the hospital wasn't as scary as I thought it would be. He has a pretty intense cry but he doesn't use it too much so its nice :)

Since we have been home things have been wonderful. Being in the hospital for 48 hours is torture. Jadi and I were dying to get out of there. And once we finally did get home we were in heaven. So far he has been so relaxed and such a good eater and most importantly a good sleeper!!

He is a week old today and all ready time is going by too fast. He has been the greatest blessing to us and we are so happy and grateful that he is apart of our lives!!!

So here I am...29 weeks prego. The picture quality sucks but oh well. Things are going really good pregnancy wise. I am starting to get really anxious for this little guy to come and I still have 11 weeks to go. It better go by fast!!

We are almost done with our summer out here in Chicago/Indiana. We'll be home in 3 weeks and I can't wait!!!

Ok so here it is... I have alot of people asking to see it. This is me at 26 weeks pregnant! I can't believe how fast it is going by. Our little man will be here so soon! He moves around like crazy in there all day and I love it. It feels like he's having fun in there, ha ha ha! But things are going great...

We only have about 6 weeks left of the summer and then we will be home in Utah getting ready for this baby to come! Jadi has been working super hard and is doing awesome!

We are having a hard time thinking of a name for this little guy, so any suggestions would be great!! I am really not great about updating this blog of mine and its kind of hard to do when you're without a computer (ours crashed...sad) But I will start updating more that I am getting further along in my pregnancy. And I will be trying to get some better pics up of my prego self soon. I really want to start doing them about every 2 weeks or so.

There isn't much else going on. We're still living in the smallest town in the world, with nothing around us and not much to do. I'm just so glad that the time is going by fast. And there are some great wives out here to hang out with so we keep eachother busy. So check back soon for more pics!

BOY!!! We are so happy and excited! He is looking very healthy and is still expected to arrive the end of October. Seeing him on the Ultrasound was amazing. He was moving around all over the place, it looked like he was having a good time in there!! We got the cutest pictures of his little body parts and his cute profile. He kept opening his mouth and sucking on his hands. It just seems so much more real now, its crazy! I have been feeling him move around in there regularly and it is the best feeling! We are now anxiously waiting for him to get here, we can't wait to have a little man in our house!

So I know I haven't been the best blogger in the world. But I don't have much to blog about, except that in 6 DAYS we find out what this little baby is, BOY or GIRL!! We are SO excited! We are flying back to Utah to my Dr. on Sunday and we find out Monday and then fly back Monday night. Its going to be a crazy couple days but we are so excited we can hardly wait!!!!

Well things have been SUPER crazy lately...
The last few months have been pretty interesting being pregnant. I've been struggling with morning sickness, really like all day sickness. I am nauseous all the time and it sucks pretty bad but I am definitely getting used to it. I have a strict routine for myself and usually as long as I follow it I feel ok. Right now I am 14 weeks pregnant. I've had 2 dr. appointments and things are looking great! I am REALLY anxious to get to the 4 month mark, everyone says I'll feel so much better at that point....I hope everyone's right!!! But its crazy to think that we'll be having a baby in 6 MONTHS...WOW!!! Jadi and my sister definitely think it will be a GIRL but I'm leaning more towards a BOY but we'll see. My 20 week appointment is on June 8th so we should find out who's right then. We are both SO excited for this new chapter in our lives and can't wait to have a healthy baby this fall! Our actual due date is OCTOBER 22. I do see some changes in my body, I'm definitely pudgy in places I've never been before, so I can tell a little bump is trying to make its appearance!
Also...I haven't written a post about our summer. Jadi is selling with APX for his 4th summer and we are in CHICAGO! We went here our first year and I loved it, so I am excited to be back. We will actually be living in Indiana, where we are now. But the city is only an hour away. Right now we are in Fort Wayne, IN living in a hotel for 2 weeks and then we'll move 2 hours west to our apartments for the rest of the summer. So thats about everything thats been going on lately. I'll definitely have more posts coming up because the APX summer begins which means I have alot of time on my hands to do whatever!

The sand down on the beach was super sticky and Jadi and I

got into a little sand fight! Sand was every where, in our ears, mouths,

hair, nose, anywhere you could think of!! It was hilarious, we couldn't stop

laughing! It was miserable trying to get it all off though.

We had sand coming out of our ears and hair for days after!

uploaded yet. I only wanted to bring disposable cameras so

I still have a couple more pictures to add.

Our First Tree!!

Last week we planted our first trees in our yard. My parents were so thoughtful and bought us some great trees. We had so much fun planting them! Every time we do something like that our cute house feels more and more like home and we love it! Just because living in this house is still pretty new to us. Even though we bought it last November we have only lived in it for 6 months!! (Because we are gone all summer.) So here are some pictures of the great event!!

Well I have alot to catch up on.....
So the summer in Georgia ended really good. Jadi's office did great! The last 2 weeks of the summer they went to Texas to sell and I stayed in Georgia for a week by myself and my dad and sister came out to Georgia to drive me back home. After Jadi was finished in Texas he went to Missouri for the extended season.
The day after I got home I started a new job. I am working with the Special Needs students at Orem Jr. High. I love it so much!! The teacher I worked with at Riverton High school started teaching at Orem this year and asked me if I wanted to come work with her again and I was so happy to accept the job! So I have been really busy the last month getting my house back together and working everyday. But its so great to be home!! Jadi came back after a week in Missouri and stayed in Utah for another week and while he was home my parents bought us some trees for our yard and so we planted our first trees at our house, it was so fun!! But now he's in Colorado working. Busy, busy, busy are the three words to describe him! But he'll be home for good and be working in Utah the end of this month and I can't wait!!!
Also on August 25th I became an aunt!! Jadi's brother Marcel and his wife Kristina had the sweetest baby boy, Cohen Marcel Leao! He is so amazing and I love being an Aunt!
I have a billion pictures to post and it drives me nuts that my blog isn't updated all the time so I am going to be keeping up from now about whats going on in our lives!!!

Today is Jadi's 25th Birthday! He can finally rent a car, Yay!! I feel bad that he has to be working, sweating and knocking doors all day long on his birthday, but we still had some birthday fun! He opened presents this morning and when he gets home tonight we'll and dinner and cake!

Jadi is such a wonderful person, friend and husband, I couldn't ask for better. He works so hard so that I can be taken care of and we can be happy and I love him so much. HAPPY 25th BIRTHDAY!!!!

This last Thursday my parents came out here to visit me and Jadi, we had so much fun! We went to the Atlanta History museum, Georgia Aquarium, The World of Coke museum, and an Atlanta Braves game!! We had such a fun filled weekend! I wish they could have stayed longer though. Anyway, my mom took all the pictures of our events with her camera, so I don't have pictures yet but I will VERY soon, so check back later!!!

Ok...I admit I have become the worst blogger! I am so sorry! I know you all would love to see all the many and exciting adventures we have encountered out here in Georgia, but I'm sorry to tell you, they aren't any. These summers are as exciting as we make them, and I just haven't been trying. Every day Jadi works out, gets ready for work, I get up get ready and go with him to "the office" (which is just another apartment we use for meetings and things) And we are there from 10:30 until about 1:00 and then Jadi leaves. I usually spend the rest of my day doing random things, nothing of great importance. Which is why I find it so hard to blog because I feel like I'm not doing anything significant enough to blog about! But because I love you all who have been reminding me non-stop to update, I will do my best to produce a qualified post for all to read. I have some random pictures I'm posting, once again, nothing of importance. But nonetheless here you go....

What a morning!!!

So I wanted to wake up early this morning and make a big, nice breakfast for Jadi. I had finished making the eggs and was pouring oil into the pan to make fried potatoes. Right as I put the potatoes into the pan huge flames come flying up! I panicked...I tried to find water or something but when I turned around again smoke was everywhere, I could barley see! I screamed for Jadi, who was peacfully sleeping! "FIRE, THERE'S A FIRE!" Jadi comes running into the kitchen half asleep I hand him the half full cup of water, and not realizing that it would only make the flames bigger he pours it on, and then flash backs from Boy Scouts reminds Jadi, DON'T put water on a grease fire! So he grabbed the other pan and smothered the fire! The smoke alarms were going off, Bruce was running around in a frenze because we were, and he hates that high pitched sound of the alarm. Smoke filled our apartment. But luckily there wasn't any damage! Only to the vegetable oil bottle, it melted in the flames! The fire left lovely black soot marks for me to clean up, which wasn't very easy to do. It was pretty scary for me, I really thought, "Oh great, the apartment is going to burn down!" But all in all we had a pretty good laugh after the chaios was over!!

A little run in with a tornado....

One reason why I like Utah, NO TORNADOES!! (Except for that weird one that came into Utah like 8 years ago...) About a week and a half ago we were having some pretty bad weather. It rained so hard, not as hard or as much as Texas rain, there is nothing like Texas rain!! But anyway, pretty bad rain. I was watching tv and a little weather warning was down in the corner of the screen and I saw it but didn't think much of it. Then the news came on and the started telling people in Foulton County (which is the county next to us) to make preparations for a tornado potentially coming their way. So I started to get a little nervous, and at this point Kristina (sister-in-law) is with me and we are just glued to the tv. And sure enough 3 minutes later they announce that its coming straight towards North Atlanta! We were so scared!! Then on the tv they show a live picture of a funnel cloud forming into a tornado right next to I-285. It took a minute to register cause this funnel cloud was enormous. And I thought I-285 is about 4 minutes down the street, so we poke our heads out my balcony window and we saw it!!! It was crazy! And I started taking some pics with my cell phone, and then I noticed about 10 other people doing the same thing on their balcony's! But luckily the winds were so strong it blew it out fast so there wasn't any serious damage around us, except for some trees being knocked down. But it was pretty intense, thats the closest I ever want to be to a tornado!!

A little update...

Well, we have been here in Atlanta for a month now. It seems like we have been here forever already! The weather here still isn't very warm. There have been a few tornadoes in the areas around us, but nothing too close, but it does make me a little nervous!

Jadi has been super busy getting the office and the guys up and running. There have been a few mishaps but things are looking good. Jadi is such a dedicated hard worker, him and the office are doing awesome!

I have been keeping myself busy with projects I wanted to work on. Kristina (sister-in-law) and I have plans to do lots of projects like, painting or scrapbooking, mostly crafty things to keep us busy.

So things are good and moving along. I'm just excited for the warm weather to come so I can get a nice tan! So this was a stupid post about nothing but I thought I'd give an update, and I'm sick of looking at those pictures from my last post....

Our Road Trip to Atlanta!

It was quite the drive out to Georgia. We drove for about 30 hours, traveled into 9 different states! (Utah, Wyoming, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee, and finally Georgia!) We left on the 8th and were having a great time driving, around 10:00 that night we were somewhere on a dark desolate road in who knows where Nebraska and our car decides to break down!! It started over heating and going crazy! So for about 2 miles we drove really slow, and we were freaking out. We noticed a exit up ahead so we got off and the car was smoking like crazy. We were both so scared! We had no clue what was wrong and no idea where we were. So Jadi started looking under the hood, but he's no mechanic! We found out we were in a small town called Kearney. My first thought was, "great, we're gonna be stuck out here!!" We talked to towing places and they said we'd have to be towed 200 miles (out of the way) to Omaha to get the parts we needed because Land Rover parts are imported so we needed to go to the Land Rover dealership. We thought there is no way we can get towed 200 miles with me, Jadi and our dog! That would be miserable! So Jadi fortunately got a hold of a Land Rover mechanic on the phone and he located us an Import auto place that miraculously was 1/2 mile down the road from where we were!!! So we got a hotel for the night, woke up early and putted down the road crossing our fingers they would be able to fix our car. And after waiting about 2 hours in a smelly ghetto little waiting room our car was fixed and we were on our way!!! We were so happy! The rest of our trip was a breeze. We did get lost a few times but that was nothing compared to the frustrating car trouble.

So we arrived here in Atlanta on the 10th. Its so pretty here, there are so many trees and its so green. Its not hot yet but I know it will be. Our apartments are wonderful (the best ones yet)!! We are right in the middle of everything! The greatest thing is our church house is about 7 minutes away and its right next to the TEMPLE!!! Also there is a huge mall pretty much across the street, there is a Target, Wal-Mart, Costco, every restaurant imaginable including my favorite Panera Bread, tons of great shops all less than 5 minutes away! And we are only 20 minutes from the city. This is by far the best place we have lived since we started APX 2 years ago. I thought after we lived in Chicago nothing would top it but I think Atlanta just might. So I'm really excited for a great summer. Jadi and his office are already hard at work and are really on a roll.

We leave for Atlanta in ONE WEEK!!!! I seems like we just got back from Texas like a month ago! This week is going to be crazy! I'm going to be running around like a fool getting things ready to go. Life has been a little hectic lately. We are getting ready to leave for Atlanta, Georgia here in about 3 weeks. We are leaving a few weeks earlier than usual and its making things a little crazy. Jadi is busy, busy, busy with work. He's going to a million meetings, recruiting guys and going out of town on the weekends for pre-season selling and training. I have one hard working husband!! I'm already getting myself stressed out about leaving and getting everything situated. I feel so sad to leave our new house right as I just started to get settled in. I hate not being around my family for the summer, that's one of the hardest things for me. Every summer is a challenge for us and we always learn so much. I am really excited to see what Georgia will be like. I'm just getting anxious to get started so it can be over! I am really proud of Jadi for how hard he works and all the stresses he has to deal with. I truly admire his leadership skills and his patience. I love you Jadi! Well...here's to the summer ahead of us....

Jamaica and Grand Cayman!!!

So we just got back from the funnest cruise! Jadi is fortunate enough to work for a great company that took everyone on a great vacation! We went on a 5 night cruise that stopped at Jamaica, where we climbed a waterfall and swam in the ocean, and were offered marijuana at least 10 times, "You lookin for Bob Marley?" was the "code word" they would use! It was hilarious! Then our second stop was at Grand Cayman, it was great there. We went out to the middle of the ocean where there is a sand bar, where there are tons of sting rays, they call it Sting Ray City. I was a little afraid of the sting rays, I don't like fish or sea creatures very much. But it was awesome seeing them that close. We also went snorkeling. It is such a pretty place. Aside from getting a little sea sick on the cruise ship, it was a great vacation!

I have been wanting to post pictures of our view from our back patio but the weather has been so bad I haven't been able to get a clear shot. So here it is, I just love it. I love the mountains here in Utah and I love living so close to them. After living in Texas where it is flat everywhere I realized just how much I loved the mountains, I actually missed them while we were in Texas!

ATLANTA, GEORGIA HERE WE COME!! We are both so excited! During the draft after the guys pick their place, they get a hat with a sports team from the city they are going to. Last year Jadi just got a Nike hat because Fort Worth didn't have a sports team, so I had to guess. This year Jadi got an Atlanta Braves hat. But there is just an A on the front and it says Braves on the back. I don't like watching baseball so I don't know baseball teams so I didn't know what it was at first so Jadi said, "Atlanta" and I was so excited! Georgia was one of the places I really wanted to go to. So I can't wait, it will be so much fun!

The Draft is coming up!

This Saturday is the APX Draft. This is when we find out where we will be living for 5 months during the summer when Jadi sells security systems. This year is Jadi's 3rd year, 2nd year managing but his 1st year managing by himself. We are really excited for this summer, we hope it will be a great experience like it was been the last 2 years. The first year we were in Chicago, Illinois and this past summer we were in Fort Worth, Texas.

The draft is a pretty intense experience. When its Jadi's turn to choose, he has 2 minutes to decide! Our regional manager, Bo, helps him but I can't imagine the feeling, I'd be so nervous. So for the past couple weeks Jadi has been researching potential places to go. So who knows until those 2 minutes are up! Anywhere from Oregon to Boston! I'm so anxious to know. So check back Saturday night for the announcement!!!

OUR NEW HOUSE!!!

We moved into our house the weekend after Thanksgiving and are loving it. Jadi has always loved the Alpine/Highland area so we are both really to have our house in a great location that we just love. We are close to the mountains and have a beautiful view. We couldn't be happier!I've been working hard getting everything put away and decorated. I still have alot more to do, but I'm posting pics of what we've done so far. So here they are...

My cousin Jeron served his mission with Jadi in Texas, and would write to me all the time and say how cool his companion Elder Leao was, and that when they came home we all had to hang out and be friends. Well Jeron came home 2 months before Jadi and he would never stop talkin about him, and he would constantly tell me, "Mal, you have to be friends with Elder Leao, I want you guys to hang out all the time." So, Jeron and I go to the mall and he tells me Jadi is going to be meeting us there. And I get pretty nervous because I have pressure from Jeron saying we have to be friends. So we waited for Jadi at the food court and then just walked around the mall. After we went back to Jeron's house and looked at their mission pictures and just hung out. So up to this point I'm talking to Jadi a little but he's being quiet and I'm being a little quiet. At the end of the night Jeron asks Jadi to drive me home, so we get in the car and there is snow all over the road and Jadi starts spinning in the snow, and I'm scared and annoyed so I ask him to stop. But does he? NO! He laughed and said "I haven't seen snow for 2 years!" So I said, "Well wait to spin in the snow until I'm out of the car!" So he drops me off at home, and I'm thinking to myself, "this guy is pretty annoying, no way can I become friends with him!" Just then Jeron calls me and says we are all going bowling the next night. "Ugh..great!"
So after the first meeting experience we hung out a few more times and he grew on me. Me, Jadi and Jeron all started to hang out alot more. And we became really good friends
What happened next?
Well, pretty soon Jadi and I started to ditch Jeron so we could just hang out by ourselves. We talked on the phone pretty much every day for hours. And he would come over and stay for hours! Pretty soon those questions were in our heads, "Are we dating, are we together?"
There was one small problem though...I was writing a missionary. I had a promise ring, and I promised I would wait! Jadi knew about my missionary and we never talked about it so it became pretty uncomfortable once Jadi and I started to become more serious. I knew I liked Jadi and I knew he liked me but I didn't know how much. Until....he said "I love you" I just smiled, stared at him for about a minute in silence, gave him a hug and said "ok bye" got in my car and drove home! A little brutal I know, but I didn't know how I felt. The 2nd time Jadi said those 3 little words....I still didn't say a thing. But like the old saying, 3rd times a charm. I knew I felt the same way! So finally we were on the same page. The day we talked about getting married was April 3, 2005. And in June me, Jadi and my family all went to Hawaii. And Jadi proposed to me on June 21, 2005. He sang me a song at the Polynesian Cultural Center in front of 3000 people!
Where were you married?
We were sealed for eternity at Mt. Timpanogos Temple October 15, 2005. We had our reception at Thanksgiving Point and left for Puerto Vallarta on our Honeymoon.

1. I love how much he makes me laugh, not a day goes by without him making me laugh.
2. How driven he is, he is so determined whether its with school or work or anything in life he doesn't stop until he succeeds.

Even though I hate driving in the snow, I'm so happy its here! Its just so festive! I love this time of year with all of the Holidays. I think its cool that it snowed today, December 1st, a good way to start this month before Christmas!

Well it seems like that what should have been a great holiday week and weekend turned into quite the opposite....
On Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving Jadi and I closed on our house! Our apartment was a complete mess, everything was everywhere! I could hardly move around. Jadi was anxious to get things moved over into our new house even though I wanted to wait until after the holiday, but he insisted. Thanksgiving day I was very sick and I had to make a couple things for our family dinner. All the while our apartment is turned upside down! We have a good night with all the families. It was fun. Then we are moving ALL day long on Friday in the freezing cold! Finally after 12 hours of moving, we were in. Saturday we were so excited to go to the BYU/UTAH game. Saturday morning my mom calls and told me my grandma had just passed away early that morning. I was so shocked and so upset. So we had a family meeting and my dad's brothers and sister decided to have everyone get together the next day (Sunday) and have a "memorial" for grandma. My grandma didn't want a funeral or a viewing, she just wanted the family to be together. So that Sunday morning at 5:00am we flew out to California. We got there and went to see my grandpa. My grandparents have been living in California for the last few years. They weren't able to make it out here to Utah to mine or my brothers wedding, and I just felt so horrible because Jadi or my sister in law Sarah never had a chance to meet my grandma. She was just the most spirited, fun loving grandma. I remember when we lived in Hawaii and my grandparents came to visit. Me, maddie and Alan were swimming in our pool and out comes grandma with her huge sunglasses on, and she just jumps right in!! I loved it because I just thought to my self, "I don't know of any other grandmas who swim, grandma Jane is so cool! My other grandma would never do this!" Its just a memory that I'll cherish forever.
That Sunday at sunset we went to the beach and just talked about grandma and then had dinner all together. It was really good being with the entire family. They are all such wonderful people. We all live pretty much in different states so its not often that we are all together.
Me, Jadi, Alan, Sarah and Maddie all flew home Monday morning. Dad and Mom stayed out there to help out grandpa. Grandpa had her cremated and is going to Maui to sprinkle her ashes in the ocean. Hopefully my Dad and his sister and brothers will be able to go too.

I know Halloween was a couple of weeks ago, but I'm just barley getting around to posting a picture. Since Jadi and I spent the summer in Texas we thought we'd dress up as Texans for my family Halloween party. The best part is Jadi's handle bar mustache! Alot of people didn't think it was real, but it is! And even though we look like we are exagerating on our costumes, we really aren't! In the smaller towns where Jadi knocked, this is what the people looked like, big hair and all! My hair could've been a little bigger I think though!

We're getting a HOUSE!!!!

Jadi and I have been house hunting since before we left to Texas for the summer and since we have been back. It has been fun but frustrating because the house market is just ridiculous! But we found a house that we loved. It's brand new, no one has ever lived in it, and so we made an offer, a very low offer. And a week later we found out that they accepted our offer!!! We were so surprised, shocked and excited! We went to get a loan and everything is working out great! Its such a huge decision but we couldn't be more happy about it! We should be closing on the house next week, and be moved in by the end of the month! We have been looking for furniture, and it's been so much fun! I'll post pictures of the house on here soon!

Today is my 23rd Birthday! That just sounds so old to me! Jadi and I just went and had some amazing massages! It was so great and after the massage we sat in a tub and they gave us crackers with cheese and some yummy cheesecake! It was so great! And later we I'm going to open some presents and go to dinner at my parents house. It has been a great birthday!

Jadi and I were asked to substitute the Sunbeams today. They are the cuttest little kids. We had so much fun in class. Little kids are so funny. We just laughed the whole time pretty much. After church the 2nd counselor came over to our house and asked us to be the Sunbeams teachers. I was pretty excited, cause we had so much fun today! We both really love our ward, and before we left for Texas we were teaching the 10 year olds, so its good to be back in primary!

2 Years Down!!!

I can't believe that Jadi and I have been married for 2 years! (Ocober 15, 2005) Time has just gone by so fast! We have experienced some crazy things these past 2 years, and have learned so much. Jadi is a trooper for putting up with me this much! I couldn't have asked for a better husband though. I thought I'd do something for Jadi and tell him why he has been the most wonderful husband these 2 years:

1. You got me a dog on my birthday, even though you didn't want one!
2. When I was deathly sick on Christmas 2005, you woke up at 5:00am to get me popsicles!!!
3. You sing to me all the time!
4. You worked so hard when we first were married, even though you hated your job, you still smiled!
5. You worked so hard your first summer with APX, and put up with all my crap I gave you!

About Us

Since we have been married we have lived in 6 different apartments, and 3 different states! It's been quite a wild ride! In February 2006 Jadi decided to start working with APX Alarm Systems, its a company that sells alarm systems door to door. We moved out of our apartment in Provo, into my parents house in Bluffdale and then 4 weeks later we drove 26 hours to Chicago, Il. We lived in Illinois for 5 months. It was a real learning experience for both of us being out in Illinois. When we got back to Utah we moved to Alpine. In October Jadi decided we should go another summer with APX, and that he was going to manage an office! So that brings us to where we are now...in our 6th apartment we are living in Fort Worth, Texas. Jadi is working extremely hard and so far his hard work is paying off. I'll be heading home here at the end of the month, but Jadi will continue working until the end of September in Houston, managing the extended season. We have had some amazing experiences and have had some great opportunites come our way. It's been a crazy and exciting time for us. We are both really anxious for the season to be over so we can hang out and relax...at least until next summer...I wonder where out 7th apartment will be?!!
